The specialized coaching for parents who need clear, compassionate tools to navigate their child’s eating disorder recovery. In-person in Calgary, virtual across Alberta and BC.

Parent & Caregiver Coaching

Your expert road map for reducing stress and fueling recovery at home.

This is not therapy for your child. It is specialized coaching and education for YOU, the caregiver. As an Eating Disorder Dietitian, I provide the essential, practical tools and emotional support you need to manage the nutritional and behavioural challenges of recovery. My goal is to empower you to create a stable, nourishing, and supportive home for your loved one’s long-term healing.

Because I’m a Registered Dietitian, I bring the practical nutrition expertise and guidance that so many parents feel they are lacking: what to plate, how much, and how to handle fear foods and the discomfort of renourishment, including the digestive changes that so often come with it. And I do it all through a non-diet, weight-inclusive lens, helping you tell sound nutrition apart from diet culture.

The Isolation of Caregiving

You feel like you are walking a tightrope.

Caring for a loved one with an eating disorder is incredibly overwhelming, but you’re constantly told to “just feed them” or “just be supportive,” without clear guidance on how. The exhaustion, fear, and isolation are the cost of trying to navigate this alone. And the stakes are too high to rely on guesswork:

  • You feel isolated and unsupported, unsure where to turn outside of clinical programs.
  • Mealtime stress and tension have taken over your family dynamic and home life.
  • You are terrified of saying or doing the wrong thing that might worsen your child’s anxiety or symptoms.
  • You need more information and practical strategies than public programs can provide to truly manage the day-to-day challenges.

The Calm and Confidence You Deserve

Imagine having a clear plan and the expert partner you need to confidently support your loved one’s healing journey. That is the transformation we build together.

You deserve to:

  • Feel grounded and confident in your role as a supporter, not a detective or warden.
  • Reduce family conflict and bring peace back to your kitchen and home.
  • Know you are providing science-backed, compassionate nutritional support to foster lasting recovery.
  • Feel gently challenged and encouraged in your own relationship with food and body, so your home becomes a steady, recovery-supportive place.
  • Transition from overwhelm to proactive partnership in your child’s healing.

Who This Coaching Is For

This support is designed for the Committed Caregiver: the parent, partner, or family member who is desperately seeking the right tools to help a loved one heal.

  • You are supporting a teenager, young adult, or spouse diagnosed with an eating disorder or struggling with disordered eating.
  • You’re already getting good support from a treatment centre or program, but you’d like to connect more often, or between appointments, than they’re able to offer.
  • You want more dedicated nutrition input alongside your child’s care, especially in FBT, so you can navigate diet culture and confidently re-nourish your child.
  • You are committed to showing up for your loved one but feel exhausted, confused, or guilty about how to best help.
  • You need practical, step-by-step strategies to manage meal challenges and reduce the crippling anxiety that recovery brings.

What Recovery Can Look Like

I believe that recovery isn’t just the absence of the eating disorder. It’s building back a full life worth living.

Together we work toward:
  • Quieting the food noise so your mind has room for other things
  • Eating with more freedom, flexibility, and far less fear
  • Reconnecting with your body and its cues, gently and over time
  • Loosening the grip of guilt, shame, and rigid rules
  • Getting back your energy, focus, and time for the people and passions that matter

You were made for so much more than a life spent at war with food. Let’s get you back to it.

How I Help

What does an eating disorder dietitian do?

The short answer: I help you renourish your body, quiet the food noise, and rebuild a peaceful relationship with food.

An eating disorder dietitian is a Registered Dietitian with specialized training in the nutritional care of eating disorders and disordered eating. My role is to help you renourish your body and rebuild a peaceful, flexible relationship with food, while working alongside the rest of your care team.

Together, that can look like:

  • Gently interrupting food rules, restriction, and the cycle of food noise.
  • Supporting nourishment and, when needed, weight restoration, at a pace your body and nervous system can handle.
  • Untangling the beliefs about food and body that diet culture and the eating disorder have taught you.
  • Rebuilding trust with your body’s hunger, fullness, and satisfaction cues over time.
  • Making eating feel calmer, more spontaneous, and less all-consuming.

I don’t hand you a meal plan and send you off. Think of me as your trusted co-pilot in the work that actually changes things.
