The Support You Need

1:1 Eating Disorder Nutrition Support

Your personalized, human-centred road map towards disordered eating recovery.

If food and your body have taken over more of your life than you ever wanted, I want you to know two things: you are not alone, and you are not too far gone. As a non-diet eating disorder dietitian in Calgary, working virtually across Alberta and BC, I support people who are exhausted by the food noise and ready to imagine something different.

Maybe every meal feels like a test. Maybe you’ve been fighting this quietly for years, while everyone assumed you were fine. Maybe part of you wants recovery and another part is terrified of what life looks like without the eating disorder. All of that is welcome here. This is not another one-size-fits-all plan. It’s a collaborative, compassionate journey designed for lasting change.

As your specialized eating disorder dietitian, I provide the guidance, expertise, and consistent compassion you need to move from the chaos of obsession to the freedom of genuine nourishment. We meet you exactly where you are, gently challenge the eating disorder, and rebuild a joyful, peaceful relationship with food.

Because recovery isn’t about willpower, and it isn’t linear. It’s a series of brave next steps, taken with someone who holds hope for you until you can hold it for yourself.

Is this you?

You are brilliant and successful in every other area of your life, yet food feels like your biggest failure. You are exhausted by the mental gymnastics and the constant feeling that you are failing at recovery or failing your own body. Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Food takes up more space in your head than you’d ever admit out loud.
  • Eating feels stressful, scary, or tangled up with guilt and you feel stuck in rules, rituals, or numbers that never quite let you rest.
  • You’re missing out on being fully present in relationships, travel, school, or career opportunities because the eating disorder is getting in the way.
  • You’ve tried to recover on your own, or in programs that felt too rigid or impersonal. Nothing has brought you the freedom you’re longing for.
  • You’re tired, and you’re ready for something to change, even if you’re scared.

It can get better…

Imagine waking up with mental clarity and the energy to focus on the things you truly value: your career, your friendships, and your adventures.

Imagine:

  • Finally breaking free of the critical inner voice that dictates your every bite, and reclaiming the mental space it stole.
  • Eating that feels calm, flexible, and free, with no rules, rituals, or numbers to answer to.
  • Being fully present for the dinners out, the travel adventures, and the everyday moments you don’t want to miss.
  • Sustainable food peace, not just another temporary fix that fades.
  • Feeling strong and trusting your body again, without the fear of failure.

I believe that recovery is possible, and we can build the path there together.

How I Help

What does an eating disorder dietitian do?

The short answer: I help you renourish your body, quiet the food noise, and rebuild a peaceful relationship with food.

An eating disorder dietitian is a Registered Dietitian with specialized training in the nutritional care of eating disorders and disordered eating. My role is to help you renourish your body and rebuild a peaceful, flexible relationship with food, while working alongside the rest of your care team.

Together, that can look like:

  • Gently interrupting food rules, restriction, and the cycle of food noise.
  • Supporting nourishment and, when needed, weight restoration, at a pace your body and nervous system can handle.
  • Untangling the beliefs about food and body that diet culture and the eating disorder have taught you.
  • Rebuilding trust with your body’s hunger, fullness, and satisfaction cues over time.
  • Making eating feel calmer, more spontaneous, and less all-consuming.

I don’t hand you a meal plan and send you off. Think of me as your trusted co-pilot in the work that actually changes things.

My Approach:

Non-diet, weight-inclusive, and paced by you

I practice from a non-diet, weight-inclusive, Health at Every Size aligned lens. That means we will never pursue weight loss, restrict calories, or label foods as good or bad. We use nutrition as a tool for self-care, never as a weapon of self-control.

My work draws on evidence-based frameworks, including:

  • Intuitive Eating
  • Health at Every Size (HAES) and weight-inclusive care
  • Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)
  • Family Based Treatment (FBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

But frameworks are only part of it. What you’ll actually feel is a calm, non-judgmental space where you set the pace, where recovery is allowed to be non-linear, and where you are treated as a whole human who is so much more than a diagnosis.

Experience across every level of care

Over 8+ years, I’ve supported clients at every level of care, from residential and outpatient programs to the community.

I offer compassionate, specialized support for:

  • Anorexia nervosa
  • Bulimia nervosa
  • Binge eating disorder
  • ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
  • OSFED and disordered eating

What Recovery Can Look Like

I believe that recovery isn’t just the absence of the eating disorder. It’s building back a full life worth living.

Together we work toward:
  • Quieting the food noise so your mind has room for other things
  • Eating with more freedom, flexibility, and far less fear
  • Reconnecting with your body and its cues, gently and over time
  • Loosening the grip of guilt, shame, and rigid rules
  • Getting back your energy, focus, and time for the people and passions that matter

You were made for so much more than a life spent at war with food. Let’s get you back to it.
