Hi there!

I’m Britney.

An eating disorder dietitian who’s on a mission to help you ditch food rules and truly nourish your body!

My Story

When I reflect back on my journey, I can clearly see how I was being called to support individuals across the spectrum of Disordered Eating and Eating Disorders. One of my first experiences was at a residential treatment centre, where I was instantly humbled and deeply inspired by the vulnerability, courage, and grit of the individuals and families I supported.

Moving forward, I took every opportunity to gain experience across the disordered eating spectrum. I discovered Intuitive Eating and flexible, non-diet approaches that truly honour the unique needs of the person. I made it my mission to help women and families re-discover the joy of eating, ditch dieting forever, and learn how to truly nourish their bodies.

As a woman living in this culture, I am not immune to the pressures of diet culture. I hold privilege, but I know the depth of struggle often happens in the invisible spaces of our hearts and minds—not just in body size. I have navigated my own path to find peace with food, and because of that, I get so excited to champion the message that you were made for MORE! You were made for more than a life spent obsessing over macros, calories, or cleanses.

One of the best parts of my job is holding the hope for full recovery. I’ve witnessed it! I love watching a person rediscover themselves and explore what a more full and values-aligned life feels like. My intention is to create a space where you can explore your relationship to food, lay down the burdens you carry, and take those courageous first steps toward a flourishing life.

My Philosophy

I believe that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, that your needs are unique, and that you deserve to nourish your body in ways that are designed specifically for you. This is the heart of my weight-inclusive, non-diet philosophy.

I believe that when you properly nourish your body, you get to experience real human flourishing. By shifting the focus off dieting and restriction and building a supportive relationship with food, you open yourself up to experience life to the fullest. When you’re trapped in the lies of diet culture, you live far too small. The world needs more of YOU—your joy, your passion, and your compassion!

I believe that all bodies deserve to take up space. You are worthy of nourishment and care simply because you exist. It is not something you have to earn or achieve.

As your Registered Dietitian (RD) working in the eating disorder recovery space, my approach integrates evidence-based nutrition care while honouring your lived experience. You are the expert of your body! Think of me as your trusted co-pilot. It’s intentional that you are in the driver’s seat because no one knows your life experience or your goals better than you. I’m here to encourage you, to challenge you, and to walk with you as you gently pull back the layers of restriction. Ultimately, I’m here to hold hope with you in the moments you see your path clearly, and to hold hope for you when the path feels dark and heavy.
